A pre-ceremony performance commemorating the docking of the large passenger ship 'Costa Serena,' used as the cruise village for the 2026 Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games athletes' village, began on the 15th at Kinjo Port in Nagoya, Japan. The performers on stage were Oda Nobunaga, Toyotomi Hideyoshi, and Tokugawa Ieyasu, known as the 'Nagoya Three Heroes'—three symbols of Japan's Sengoku period. These three figures unified Japan through the Sengoku period, all born in the area of present-day Aichi Prefecture, and are said to be representative symbols of the region actively used as tourism and cultural content by Aichi Prefecture and Nagoya City. While it is not unusual to highlight a regional historical figure at an international event held in one's own country, the Costa Serena   is said to be a training center where athletes from various countries stayed during this tournament, and when looking back at the mark Toyotomi left on Asian history, it is controversial. Hideaki Omura, Governor of Aichi Prefecture and chair of the tournament's organizing committee, said that the pre-ceremony performance   After the event, he congratulated him, saying, "This Asian Games is Asia's greatest festival of peace and sports," but considering the nature of the event that promotes Asian unity, it is understandable that more careful selection of personnel was needed. At the 2020 Tokyo Olympics held in 2021, the Korean team hung a banner on the outer wall of the Tokyo Olympic Village that read, "I still have the support and support of 50 million people," ,,, the phrase was modeled after the 'Sangyu Sixty-Two' (God still has twelve ships) from the memorial he sent to King Seonjo. In response, Japanese media raised the issue by calling it a political message, and when far-right groups protested in front of the athletes' village, our team removed the banners.  If the standards from that time are applied as-is, it is difficult for the stage of this inauguration ceremony to be free from the same standards!!!!!!
