On the 1st, the government held a meeting of the Employment Insurance Committee and finalized the 'Employment Insurance System Reform Plan,' which decided to exclude unpaid holidays, which usually fall on Saturdays, when calculating unemployment benefit payment days. Until now, unemployment benefits have been tax-exempt, and since weekly and unpaid holidays are paid instead of working days, there has been a reversal where actual take-home pay exceeds that of minimum wage workers. In fact, as of this year, minimum wage workers earn 1.93 million won per month after tax, and unemployment benefits   The minimum amount is 1.98 million won, which was once a major controversy. The payment period will be extended from the current 4~9 months to 4.7~10.5 months, up to a month and a half, and the monthly payment excluding unpaid holidays will decrease by about 220,000~230,000 won,   The minimum amount will be 1,760,000 won, and the maximum amount will be reduced from 2,040,000 won to 1,810,000 won. The payment method will be changed so that people receive less than the minimum wage, to resolve the 'syrup benefits' controversy and encourage job seeking,,, but no matter how much, 1,760,000 won is not such a big difference!! I have to drastically lower it to 1,000,000 won!! work hard and get 1,930,000 won,,, but if it's 1,760,000 won, I'll just keep hanging around and hanging around!!!!!!
