He added, "The words of the Psalm, 'Your word is light in my path,' illuminated the darkness, and especially the future generation of young people prayed earnestly to God, the rulers of history, and the Lord Jesus Christ so that they would not give up on their dreams and hopes," and added,,,, "I pray that this land will rise again with truth, justice, and faith, for all of you, for the free Republic of Korea." Earlier, on the 2nd, before the holiday, First Lady Kim Keon-hee of former President Yoon also sent a message to supporters, saying, "Your letters and support If it weren't for it, I don't think I could have survived this long, dark tunnel." Meanwhile, former President Yoon did not appear at the 23rd trial for the alleged leader of the internal strife held that day, marking his 14th absence from the trial. Yoon's legal team said, "Considering his health and other investigative circumstances, it is difficult for him to handle it," and added, "Please understand that it is difficult for him to appear out of necessity." They also addressed the consequences of not attending the trial. He responded that refusing to appear while claiming responsibility constitutes an exercise of the right to defense. He appeared after more than 80 days at the first hearing and bail hearing for obstruction of official duties held at the Seoul Central District Court on the 26th of last month. Yoon's side requested a non-detention trial citing deteriorating health, but on the 2nd, the court dismissed the bail request, citing concerns over evidence destruction.
