The Midsummer Petty, one of Melbourne's premier January events, is a 22-day event where you can enjoy unique arts and culture in Melbourne.
More than 170 Midsummer Festivals kick off across more than 100 venues in Melbourne City and surrounding areas, featuring visual arts, performances, films, parties, sports, and social events, along with various free events such as the Midma Carnival and Midma Pride.
Since its inception in 1988, Midsummer has become one of Australia's most important arts and cultural festivals, including Melbourne, and has also established itself as a venue for artists to present and promote their work.
