When did Koreans start to become Westernized? We don't know exactly, but before we know it, pizza and bread have become convenient and familiar meal replacements. Perhaps because of this, news often reports that Korean youth are more obese than American youth these days. There are also calls to introduce a fat tax like New York, so it's clear that something serious is wrong.
Putting the story aside, I visited 'Espressino,' which is in the same category as '+39 Pizzaria' featured in the Melbourne Sky magazine before. Unfortunately, I missed out on pizza because it was close to closing time, but as a businessman leaving work, it was packed with nowhere to sit!
Has anyone noticed why this place is called +39? It was named using an Italian international phone code. Located at the intersection of King Street and Collin Street, this place is already loved by many people until I realized it was a place I only realized after visiting. I always passed by, wondering, 'Why are there so many people there?' It was a place that made you wonder. I only visited after 3 a.m., but since the kitchen was already closed, unfortunately, I only got to try the cupcakes and coffee they recommended.
The cupcake, which combined crispiness and moistness, was fun thanks to the decorated candy, offering a sweet taste and soothing the disappointment with smooth coffee. Just as there is +39 pizza here, there is +39 coffee. To achieve the best coffee, coffee farms around the world grow and blend coffee directly, which is probably one reason why many businesspeople enjoy a cup of coffee here even after the kitchen closes.
The familiar +39 logo immediately came to mind on the way back, reminding me that it was a hot pizza place I had already introduced in the previous issue. A highly recommended place for those who enjoy high-quality pizzas and the taste of +39 coffee! A place where you can taste authentic Italian cuisine!
TIP. A place you definitely want to visit. If you like outdoor tables, go for it~
